Sketch # 9

Today's Sketch is created by Michelle and digitized by Darla

The Top 3 from sketch # 8 will be announced on Wednesday, as well as the design team creations using this week's sketch. We decided to do it this way so no one was influenced by our interpretations right off the start. It will allow you to start your own between now and then and check ours out on Wednesday.

Speaking of Design Teams we are still recruiting! Interested? Read more about it here. Also, when you enter the challenge please place the letters DT after your name so we know you're interested.

Remember that your creation does NOT have to be a card, it can be absolutely anything as long as you used this sketch somehow. If you use this sketch to create more than one project feel free to enter more than once, each project must be linked separately.

Don't want to miss any posts?? Sign up for email updates from our challenge blog so you don't miss out. No worries, there will only be 3 postings per week. (see side bar for email subscription)

Guidelines for entering can be found here.

Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team and will be announced on the Wednesday after submissions close, along with the design teams creations for that week. Check back to see who made Top 3 and if it's you then grab the blog badge over on the sidebar for your blog and display it proudly!

Now it's your turn to create!

  1. That looks like a really interesting sketch! Do you have any size recommendations for all those pieces?

    1. I actually made a template for the card, but unfortunately, I didn't save it. I just laid out scraps on a piece of cardstock the size I wanted my card and went from there. My finished card is 5"x7" if that helps.

  3. Looks like a fantastic sketch for a layout. Might have to give this a try if I can get some available time this week.

  4. I have tried to leave a comment on Ruth's blog, but there is no comment button on it. So Ruth, if you are reading these comments, I love your card. Is that a dp or did you stamp and cut a piece of paper?

    1. Hi Margaret! Ruth is my mom and she doesn't have a blog she is posting her cards via her FB account. She did cut all her pieces out from a single sheet of printed paper. I am unsure which line of paper she used. I will let her know that you love it!
